Our Story – Listening to The Call of Cacao

 

In 2023 we arrived in Mexico 

— my wife Monika (a neurography therapist) and I (a social worker) — to collaborate at a health center. 

There we developed therapeutic plans for detoxification and discovered the ancestral Mayan medicine with its healing rituals and ceremonies. Fascinated, we integrated that wisdom into our work — and felt we had found a treasure.

But fate took another course: internal differences in the center’s leadership left us unemployed. What at first seemed like a breakup became a new beginning. During that time we discovered cacao in its purest and most authentic form.

We discovered it not only as a delicious food, but as what it has been for millennia: “food of the gods.”

None of this was planned. And yet we felt that Ek Chuah, the god of cacao and commerce, had chosen us to restore cacao to its true place: as nature’s universal remedy, rich in forces that nourish and protect body and spirit.

Cacao acts profoundly:

• supports the regeneration of stem cells

• strengthens and protects the cardiovascular system

• acts as a myostatin blocker, preventing muscle loss and promoting development

Entering cacao commercialization brought us into new territory. But our purpose remains the same as in our work as therapists: to help people.

Trusting in the power of cacao and under the guidance of Ek Chuah, we dedicate our mission today to showing that cacao is not just a sweet, but a path to health, strength, and joy.
